The subject Dreadlocks started got me thinking about story length, and I went back to check the lengths of some of my old stories. The thing is a bunch of them were just gone. Completely disappeared from my account. Ironically, a document I have been tried multiple times to remove is stubbornly still there.
Anyone else have older documents just disappear? Is there a time limit on these things?
Pretty sure that I’ve never lost a document, but the oldest one I have is July 2017, so not really that old. It would seem pretty off for Google to be randomly deleting stuff without at least notifying you, so I’d probably assume a glitch rather than deliberate policy.
I’m not totally sure on the exact dates of the missing docs, considering they are missing. But I think they are from 2015 or 2016. I was barely on line for a lot of 2017 and 2018, but I don’t think I felt like stuff was missing when I was able to get back.
I think I have copies of everything that disappeared on here, but I’m not sure. It’s rather frustrating.
