Two of my stories – The Certainty of Beauty & 27 Seconds of 8mm – contain no descriptions of haircutting but are both on topic and I’ve gotten good feedback for them. Indeed I skip quickly over stories that are nothing but line after line of describing haircuts in the most boring language imaginable.
