    Hey guys.
    As the title suggests, I don’t think labelling authors ‘Leading’ is a good idea. No matter how that limit is placed, it’s going to lead to people, who are contributing actively to the site but not above the arbitrary limit, to feel like they’re being sneered at.

    I feel that it’s important to encourage a community where all authors feel welcome and appreciated, no matter their level of contribution and skill level.

    Hi, ML.

    HSN noted in another thread that they’re mulling over other wording options for that. They just wanted to acknowledge authors who contribute a lot of well received stories (and are looking for ways to incorporate the older stats, too, I believe).

    I get that. But it splits authors into an elite group and others that are very visibly not.

    I find that to be in itself a bad idea, being less inclusive

    If I was JimB, for instance, who for whatever reason doesn’t qualify with 95 stories here, and more than a decade contributing stories to the community, I’d feel a little pissed on.
